Job Summary
We are looking for a Junior Maintenance Executive responsible for ensuring smooth operation and maximum availability of plant machinery and equipment. The candidate will handle preventive, breakdown and corrective maintenance activities and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance of machines and equipment.
- Attend machine breakdowns and ensure quick restoration to minimize production downtime.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic issues.
- Monitor machine condition and identify potential failures before breakdowns.
- Maintain maintenance schedules, checklists, logbooks and breakdown records.
- Coordinate with the Production team for planned maintenance activities.
- Handle maintenance of motors, pumps, compressors, conveyors, panels and production machinery.
- Assist in root cause analysis (RCA) of recurring machine failures.
- Maintain adequate stock and records of critical maintenance spares.
- Coordinate with external vendors/OEM technicians for repairs and technical support.
- Follow 5S, TPM, Kaizen and workplace safety practices.
- Ensure proper use of tools, PPE and safe maintenance procedures.
- Maintain daily maintenance reports and machine history records.
- Support installation, commissioning and modification of new machines/equipment.
- Suggest improvements to reduce machine downtime and maintenance costs.
Qualification & Skills
- Diploma / BE / B.Tech – Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred.
- 2–4 years of relevant maintenance experience in a manufacturing/engineering industry.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Basic knowledge of electrical panels, sensors, motors and control systems is preferred.
- Ability to read basic mechanical/electrical drawings.
- Knowledge of MS Office / ERP maintenance records will be an advantage.
Salary: Based on experience and candidate profile. Current Nashik maintenance openings show compensation varying significantly by qualification, machine-maintenance exposure and experience.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
