We are looking for a skilled Welder for MEP site work responsible for fabrication, installation, and repair of piping systems, structural supports, and related components in mechanical and plumbing projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform welding for MS, GI, SS pipes used in HVAC, fire fighting, and plumbing systems
- Read and interpret MEP drawings, piping layouts, and isometric drawings
- Carry out pipe welding, structural welding, and support fabrication
- Execute cutting, grinding, threading, and fit-up activities
- Coordinate with pipe fitters and supervisors on-site
- Ensure proper alignment and leak-proof joints
- Inspect weld quality and carry out corrections if needed
- Follow site safety rules and use PPE at all times
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience in MEP / construction site welding work
- Knowledge of Arc welding, Gas cutting, TIG (preferred)
- Ability to work with HVAC ducts, fire line pipes, chilled water lines
- Basic understanding of site measurements and layout marking
- Good teamwork and communication skills
Education & Experience:
- ITI Welder or equivalent preferred
- 2–5 years of experience in MEP projects
- Certification in welding is an advantage
Work Environment:
- Construction / project site
- Work at heights, confined spaces, and outdoor conditions
- May involve overtime depending on project deadlines
Salary (Optional):
- As per industry standards + OT
