Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Turning Operator to join our manufacturing team in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating CNC Turning Centers and producing high-precision components while ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and productivity standards. Experience in aerospace, defence, or precision engineering environments will be highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate CNC Turning Centers for precision machining of components.
- Monitor machining parameters and ensure dimensional accuracy throughout the production process.
- Perform tool changes, tool setting, and offset corrections as required.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, process sheets, and work instructions.
- Inspect finished components using precision measuring instruments as per customer specifications.
- Maintain production records, inspection reports, and quality documentation.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and quality standards.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain workplace cleanliness through 5S practices.
- Report machine abnormalities and coordinate with supervisors for timely resolution.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- ITI, Diploma, or B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- 2–5 years of experience operating CNC Turning Centers.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
- Strong knowledge of precision measuring instruments such as Verniers, Micrometers, Bore Gauges, and Height Gauges.
- Understanding of aerospace and defence quality requirements.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong focus on safety, quality, and productivity.
