Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior Product Designer to lead the design of high-impact commerce experiences across web and mobile platforms. This role will own end-to-end design for critical user journeys including discovery, search, product detail pages, cart, checkout, and post-purchase flows. The role requires balancing user needs with business outcomes such as conversion, retention, and monetization. The role involves working closely with product, engineering, data, and business teams to build scalable, intuitive, and high-performing experiences. As a senior member of the team, the role will also contribute to product strategy, mentor designers, and elevate design quality across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Product Design & Strategy
- Lead end-to-end design for core commerce journeys including discovery, search, cart,
checkout, and post-purchase flows.
- Drive product strategy using user insights, competitive analysis, and business metrics.
- Design across platforms — web, mobile web, and mobile apps.
- Balance user needs with business goals, technical constraints, and operational feasibility.
- Ensure high-quality design execution from concept to launch.
User Experience & Problem Solving
- Identify user pain points and improve usability, discoverability, and conversion.
- Design for complex workflows such as bulk ordering, pricing tiers, inventory constraints,
and promotions.
- Solve ambiguous problems with structured thinking and scalable solutions.
- Design intelligent and data-driven user experiences in collaboration with product and
data teams.
Research, Data & Experimentation
- Conduct user research through interviews, usability testing, and surveys.
- Analyze product data, funnel metrics, and user behavior to inform design decisions.
- Translate research insights into actionable design improvements.
- Define and track key metrics such as conversion, retention, and user engagement.
- Use experimentation (A/B testing) to validate and iterate designs.
Design Systems & Craft
- Contribute to and evolve the design system with reusable components.
- Ensure consistency across platforms and products.
- Maintain high standards in visual design, interaction design, and accessibility.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with product managers to define problems and prioritize features.
- Collaborate closely with engineering teams for high-quality implementation.
- Work with business teams (marketing, category, operations) for cohesive execution.
- Present design concepts with clear rationale and expected impact.
Mentorship & Leadership
- Mentor junior designers and provide structured feedback.
- Lead design reviews and elevate overall team quality.
- Advocate for user-centric design practices across the organization.

Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of product design experience with a strong background in e-commerce,
marketplaces, or B2B platforms.
- Proven experience designing complex systems and workflows at scale.
- Track record of delivering measurable impact on business metrics.
- Strong understanding of UX, interaction design, and visual design principles.
- Familiarity with commerce metrics such as conversion rate, AOV, and retention.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work in
fast-paced, high-growth environments.
Technical Skills
- Figma or similar design tools
- Prototyping, wireframing, and design systems
- Data, analytics, and A/B experimentation tools
- Understanding of web and mobile platform constraints and accessibility standards
