Job Summary
The Placement Officer is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with employers, organizing campus recruitment drives, supporting students in their career development, and ensuring successful placement opportunities. The role involves coordinating with companies, preparing students for recruitment, maintaining placement records, and enhancing the institution's placement outcomes.
Compensation & Benefits
- Fixed Salary: ₹ 25,000 to ₹ 35,000 per month
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with corporates, CA/CS firms, banks, and finance companies to generate job openings and internship opportunities for students.
- Organize campus placement drives, walk-in interviews, and virtual hiring events.
- Coordinate campus recruitment drives, job fairs, career expos, and hiring events.
- Guide students in career planning and job search strategies.
- Monitor student eligibility and ensure they meet placement requirements.
- Maintain an updated database of student profiles, placement records, and employer information.
- Coordinate internship opportunities and industry projects for students.
- Collect employer feedback and student feedback after recruitment drives.
- Prepare placement reports, analytics, and MIS for management.
- Promote placement activities through email, social media, and student communication channels.
- Ensure timely documentation, offer letters, joining status, and placement tracking.
- Work closely with academic departments to improve student employability.
- Build long-term partnerships with industries, companies, and alumni networks.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Human Resources, Management, Marketing, or a related field.
- MBA in HR/Marketing is preferred.
- 2–3+ years of experience in placement, recruitment, corporate relations, or talent acquisition.
- Experience in educational institutions is an added advantage.
