Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and patient-focused Orthopedic Doctor’s Assistant to support the orthopedic consultant in clinical and administrative tasks. The role involves assisting during OPD consultations and orthopedic procedures, handling patient coordination, and ensuring smooth clinic operations.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the orthopedic doctor during OPD consultations and minor procedures
Prepare patients for examinations related to bones, joints, fractures, and musculoskeletal conditions
Assist during plaster application, cast removal, dressings, and splinting
Take and record patient vitals and clinical history
Help in post-procedure care, dressing changes, and patient instructions
Maintain patient medical records, reports, and follow-up schedules
Ensure cleanliness, sterilization, and readiness of the consultation and procedure area
Manage orthopedic instruments, braces, supports, and medical supplies
Guide patients on post-treatment care, exercises, and follow-up visits
Required Skills & Competencies
Basic understanding of orthopedic procedures and terminology
Good communication and patient-handling skills
Ability to assist physically during procedures when required
Organized, attentive, and detail-oriented
Calm and professional approach with patients
Qualifications & Requirements
Diploma or certification in Medical Assistant / Nursing / OT Technician (preferred)
Prior experience in an orthopedic clinic or hospital is an advantage
Basic computer knowledge for record-keeping
Willingness to work flexible hours if needed
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
