Job Summary
The Front Desk Associate is responsible for managing guest reception activities, including check-ins, check-outs, reservations, and guest assistance. The role focuses on delivering excellent customer service, maintaining smooth front office operations, and ensuring a positive guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests and provide professional front desk assistance.
- Handle guest check-in and check-out procedures efficiently.
- Manage room reservations, cancellations, and booking inquiries.
- Answer phone calls, emails, and guest queries politely.
- Provide information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams for room readiness.
- Handle guest complaints and escalate issues when necessary.
- Maintain accurate guest records and billing details.
- Process payments, invoices, and cash/card transactions.
- Ensure front desk area cleanliness and presentation standards.
- Follow hotel policies, SOPs, and hospitality standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Graduate or diploma in Hotel Management/Hospitality preferred.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Customer-service-oriented attitude.
- Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with hotel software/PMS systems.
- Professional appearance and positive personality.
- Ability to multitask and work in shifts.
Preferred Experience
- 2+ years of experience in hotel front office, hospitality, or customer service.
- Freshers with strong communication skills may also apply.
