Site Engineer (Civil) — L N Distributors, Guwahati
What you'll do:
- Independently manage day-to-day construction activities at site
- Ensure all work is executed as per approved drawings and specifications
- Monitor quality of materials, workmanship, and overall progress
- Interpret engineering drawings and track BOQ items
- Coordinate with labour, contractors, and subcontractors on site
- Raise material purchase requests and monitor consumption
- Maintain site diary, measurement books, and progress reports
- Represent the firm during government inspections and client site visits
- Report daily progress to management and flag delays immediately
What we're looking for:
- B.Tech / B.E. in Civil Engineering
- 3-5 years of site execution experience, preferably on government projects
- Hands-on knowledge of RCC, brickwork, plastering, flooring, and finishing works
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and BOQs
- Familiar with government project documentation and site protocols
- Willing to work on-site full time; travel within Assam may be required
- Good communication in Assamese, Hindi, and English
Salary: Negotiable based on experience
Location: Guwahati (project sites across Assam)
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
