Job Purpose
To independently manage and control all Safety, Electrical Safety, Fire Safety, Site Safety, Compliance, Training, Audits, Inspections, Incident Management, and Safety Documentation activities across all company project sites.
Key Responsibilities
1. Safety Management
- Develop and implement company safety policies, procedures, and standards.
- Take complete responsibility for safety activities across all project sites.
- Conduct regular site inspections, safety audits, and safety meetings.
- Identify hazards, unsafe acts, and unsafe conditions and ensure corrective actions.
- Monitor PPE, housekeeping, barricading, signage, and safe working practices.
- Ensure compliance by employees, workers, subcontractors, and site teams.
2. Electrical Safety – Mandatory
- Candidate must have strong practical knowledge of Electrical Safety.
- Inspect electrical panels, DBs, cables, earthing, MCBs, RCCB/ELCBs, DG sets, temporary power connections, and electrical tools.
- Ensure safe operation of grinders, cutters, mixers, welding machines, and other electrical equipment.
- Implement and monitor LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) procedures.
- Conduct electrical safety inspections and ensure corrective actions are completed.
- Ensure compliance with applicable electrical safety standards and client requirements.
3. Fire Safety & Emergency Management
- Manage all Fire Safety and Emergency Preparedness activities.
- Ensure proper availability, inspection, and maintenance of fire extinguishers and fire-fighting equipment.
- Conduct fire safety training, emergency drills, and evacuation exercises.
- Identify fire hazards and implement preventive measures.
- Develop and maintain emergency response and evacuation procedures.
4. Safety Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain complete and updated safety documentation for all projects.
- Prepare and maintain:
- HIRA / Risk Assessment
- JSA / JHA
- Method Statements & SOPs
- Permit to Work (PTW)
- Toolbox Talk Records
- Safety Induction Records
- Safety Inspection Checklists
- PPE Issue & Inspection Records
- Electrical Safety Checklists
- Fire Safety Inspection Records
- Machinery & Equipment Inspection Records
- Incident / Accident / Near-Miss Reports
- Corrective & Preventive Action Reports
- Safety Training Records
- Daily / Weekly / Monthly Safety Reports
- Ensure all client and statutory safety documentation is completed and submitted on time.
5. Training & Team Management
- Conduct safety induction, toolbox talks, and regular safety training.
- Train employees and workers on electrical safety, fire safety, machinery safety, PPE, emergency procedures, and safe working practices.
- Lead and guide Safety Officers/Safety Supervisors.
- Monitor and review site safety performance and provide reports to management.
6. Incident Investigation & Audits
- Lead investigation of accidents, incidents, near misses, and unsafe occurrences.
- Identify root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Conduct internal safety audits and ensure closure of observations.
- Prepare and present safety performance reports to management.
7. Industrial Concrete Flooring Safety
- Ensure safe working practices during surface preparation, grinding, cutting, concrete mixing, flooring application, machinery operation, material handling, and chemical usage.
- Inspect flooring machinery, electrical equipment, power tools, and other site equipment.
- Ensure proper equipment inspection and maintenance records.
Required Skills
- Strong Electrical Safety Knowledge – Mandatory
- Strong knowledge of Fire Safety and Emergency Management.
- Complete knowledge of industrial/construction site safety.
- Strong knowledge of HIRA, JSA/JHA, PTW, LOTO, Risk Assessment, PPE, Incident Investigation, and Safety Audits.
- Excellent safety documentation and reporting skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Office – Word & Excel.
- Strong leadership, communication, decision-making, and team-management skills.
- Ability to independently manage safety activities across multiple project sites.
Certifications – Advantage
Candidates possessing any of the following certifications will be preferred / considered an advantage:
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
