Job Purpose
To ensure the smooth operation, preventive maintenance, and upkeep of all electrical, mechanical, and utility systems at the Managing Director's Bungalow. The role is responsible for maintaining the property in a safe, clean, and fully functional condition while responding promptly to maintenance requirements.
Key Roles & ResponsibilitiesElectrical Maintenance
- Perform routine inspection, preventive maintenance, and repairs of all electrical installations within the bungalow.
- Maintain electrical wiring, distribution boards, switches, sockets, lighting fixtures, fans, and other electrical equipment.
- Attend to electrical breakdowns and ensure uninterrupted operation of all utilities.
- Coordinate with external electricians for major repairs whenever required.
Swimming Pool Maintenance
- Maintain the swimming pool filtration system, pumps, motors, underwater lights, and related equipment.
- Monitor pool water circulation and ensure all pool equipment functions efficiently.
- Coordinate with specialized service providers for water treatment and major maintenance activities.
Solar Power System
- Inspect and maintain solar panels, inverters, batteries (if applicable), and electrical connections.
- Clean solar panels periodically to ensure optimum efficiency.
- Monitor system performance and report any abnormalities.
Fish Tank / Aquarium Maintenance
- Maintain aquarium pumps, filters, aerators, lighting, and heaters.
- Ensure all electrical equipment related to the aquarium operates safely and efficiently.
- Coordinate routine cleaning and servicing as required.
Water Heater & Plumbing Utilities
- Inspect and maintain electric water heaters, booster pumps, pressure pumps, and water supply systems.
- Report and rectify plumbing leaks, water supply issues, and drainage problems by coordinating with the appropriate service personnel.
General Property Maintenance
- Perform routine inspection of the bungalow premises to identify maintenance requirements.
- Carry out minor carpentry, plumbing, painting, and civil maintenance work whenever possible.
- Ensure all household appliances and utility equipment are functioning properly.
- Coordinate Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC) and supervise external contractors during service visits.
- Maintain records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment servicing.
Garden & Outdoor Utilities
- Monitor the functioning of garden lighting, irrigation pumps, outdoor electrical systems, and water features.
- Ensure outdoor utility equipment is maintained in safe working condition.
Safety & Housekeeping
- Follow all electrical safety practices and use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Ensure tools and maintenance equipment are properly stored and maintained.
- Report unsafe conditions immediately and take preventive measures.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the maintenance store and work areas.
Qualifications
- ITI / Diploma in Electrician or Electrical Engineering.
- Electrical License (Preferred).
Experience
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in electrical and property maintenance.
- Experience in maintaining luxury residences, guest houses, villas, resorts, or executive bungalows will be preferred.
Skills & Competencies
- Good knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical maintenance.
- Ability to troubleshoot utility equipment independently.
- Basic knowledge of swimming pool systems, solar power systems, pumps, and water heaters.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Trustworthy, disciplined, and capable of maintaining confidentiality while working at the Managing Director's residence.
- Willingness to attend emergency maintenance requirements beyond regular working hours whenever necessary.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
