A telecaller is the primary voice of a business, responsible for initiating or receiving phone calls to promote products, generate sales leads, or provide customer support. Their main objectives are to build customer relationships, solve inquiries, and achieve daily or monthly performance targets. Core Responsibilities
- Outbound & Inbound Calling: Initiate calls to prospective clients based on provided leads and answer incoming calls from customers seeking information or assistance.
- Lead Generation & Sales: Persuasively explain product/service features, benefits, and pricing to encourage purchases or schedule appointments for the field sales team.
- Customer Support: Address questions, resolve grievances, and handle complaints professionally to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Data Management: Accurately log call details, customer feedback, and follow-up requirements into CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software or Excel sheets.
- Target Achievement: Consistently meet or exceed predefined targets for call volumes, conversion rates, and lead generation.
Key Skills Required
- Excellent Communication: Strong verbal communication and active listening skills are essential to understand customer needs and deliver a clear pitch.
- Persuasion & Resilience: Ability to confidently pitch offerings and gracefully handle rejection or objections without compromising on a positive tone.
- Computer Proficiency: Familiarity with basic data entry, CRM tools, and internal database management.
