Job Summary
The PRT English Teacher will be responsible for fostering foundational literacy, communication skills, phonics, and language appreciation among young learners in Classes 3-5. The candidate must align classroom instruction with CBSE guidelines, National Curriculum Framework (NCF-FS/SE), and NEP 2020 standards using child-centric, activity-based learning methodologies.
Key Responsibilities & Essential Duties1. Academic & Pedagogical Execution
- Curriculum Delivery: Design and execute interactive lesson plans following CBSE guidelines, integrating LSRW skills (Listening, Speaking, Reading, Writing).
- Foundational Literacy: Focus on phonics, vocabulary enhancement, reading comprehension, grammar fundamentals, and creative writing.
- Experiential Learning: Incorporate story-telling, role-plays, rhymes, drama, and art-integrated activities as mandated by CBSE.
- Technology Integration: Use smartboards, digital learning tools, and audio-visual aids to make English learning engaging and interactive.
Classroom Management & Pastoral Care
- Maintain a positive, warm, safe, and inclusive learning environment conducive to young children.
- Implement effective classroom management strategies that encourage participation, discipline, and emotional well-being.
- Address diverse learning needs through differentiated instruction and remedial support for slow learners.
Eligibility Criteria & Qualifications (As Per CBSE Norms)
- Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor’s Degree in English / Arts (B.A. in English or equivalent) with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognized university.
- 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) OR Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from an NCTE-recognized institution.
- Teacher Eligibility Test: Passed CTET (Paper-I) or relevant State TET (preferred/mandatory as per school policy).
- Experience: 2–5 years of primary teaching experience in a reputed CBSE school (Freshers with exceptional skills may also apply).

- Pedagogical Knowledge: Understanding of child psychology, phonics frameworks, and activity-based teaching.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
