We are seeking a skilled WordPress Developer to join our team. As a WordPress Developer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining WordPress sites for our clients. Your primary focus will be customizing WordPress themes and plugins, ensuring site functionality, and optimizing performance. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of WordPress architecture, PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Responsibilities:
- Designing and implementing custom WordPress themes from scratch or modifying existing themes to meet client requirements.
- Developing custom plugins to extend WordPress functionality.
- Collaborating with design and content teams to ensure the website meets client specifications and design standards.
- Conducting website performance tests and implementing optimization strategies.
- Troubleshooting and debugging issues that arise with WordPress sites.
- Ensuring cross-browser and cross-device compatibility.
- Staying up-to-date with the latest WordPress trends, technologies, and best practices.
- Providing technical support and guidance to clients as needed.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a WordPress Developer or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with WordPress theme and plugin development.
- Familiarity with responsive design principles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with teams.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (preferred but not required).
