We are looking for an experienced Senior Manager – SAP to lead SAP strategy, implementation, transformation and application support for a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
The role will work closely with Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Finance and other business teams to ensure SAP solutions support business processes, operational requirements and regulatory needs.
The position will involve SAP leadership, S/4HANA transformation, implementation and support, stakeholder management, team leadership and coordination with external SAP partners and vendors.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the SAP roadmap in line with business objectives.
- Lead SAP transformation, upgrades and S/4HANA initiatives.
- Manage cross-functional SAP functional and technical teams.
- Oversee end-to-end SAP implementation and support activities across modules such as FICO, MM, SD, PP and QM.
- Ensure SAP system stability, performance and continuous improvement.
- Manage Application Management Services and external SAP vendors.
- Align SAP solutions with pharmaceutical manufacturing and business processes.
- Support processes related to batch manufacturing, traceability and quality management.
- Work with business teams on regulatory requirements including GMP/GxP.
- Support serialization, Track & Trace and system validation initiatives.
- Lead SAP-related compliance and validation activities.
- Work closely with Manufacturing, QA, Supply Chain and Finance stakeholders.
- Manage SAP budgets, contracts and SLAs.
- Mentor and develop SAP team members.

Requirements
- 10–13 years of overall IT/SAP experience.
- Minimum 4–5 years of SAP leadership / management experience preferred.
- Experience in Pharmaceutical / Life Sciences / regulated manufacturing preferred.
- Strong experience in SAP implementation, support and transformation projects.
- Good exposure to SAP S/4HANA.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing, quality and supply chain processes.
- Experience managing SAP teams, consultants and vendors.
- Good stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience with SAP modules such as MM, PP, QM, FICO and SD.
- Exposure to GxP, GMP, 21 CFR Part 11, CSV, serialization or Track & Trace will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of SAP integration technologies such as PI/PO, APIs or cloud platforms will be an advantage.
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline.
Pay: ₹1,500,000.00 - ₹2,200,000.00 per year
