About The Role:
We are looking for a highly driven Category Manager to own and scale Be Bodywise’s Personal Care category end-to-end.
This includes:

Own category revenue, profitability, and growth targets

Identify growth opportunities through consumer insights, market trends, and competitive analysis

Drive data-backed decision making across the category

Identify whitespace opportunities and consumer needs

Work closely with product development teams to build and launch new products

Shape product positioning, pricing, and assortment strategy

Manage the product lifecycle from concept to scale

Develop category narratives and consumer-facing messaging
-
Build go to market plans for new launches

Define target audiences, personas, and communication strategies

Plan and execute awareness campaigns, launches, and seasonal activations

Partner with design teams for performance marketing creatives, and influencer teams to drive category growth

Work on influencer collaborations and content strategies

Continuously test, learn, and optimize messaging and acquisition strategies

1–4 years of experience in category management, business roles, growth, marketing, consulting, or e-commerce

Strong analytical skills and comfort working with data

Proven ability to solve business problems and drive growth

Strong understanding of consumer behavior and marketing fundamentals

Ability to think strategically and execute quickly

Excellent cross-functional stakeholder management skills

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment

Have experience in D2C, consumer brands, beauty, wellness, personal care, or health categories

Are naturally curious about consumer products, marketing, and brand building

Enjoy understanding why consumers buy products and how categories are built
This is not a traditional category management role focused primarily on operations or assortment management.
You'll be responsible for building categories, launching products, shaping consumer narratives, and driving growth. Think of it as being a mini founder for your category.
