About the Role
SAP ECC to S/4HANA Migration (Multi-Country Rollout)
We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO Data Migration Consultant to lead the Finance and Controlling (FICO) data migration workstream for a large-scale global SAP S/4HANA transformation program. The role involves end-to-end ownership of financial data migration activities, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, reconciliation, and successful cutover across multiple countries.
The ideal candidate should possess strong functional expertise in SAP FICO, deep understanding of S/4HANA Finance innovations, and hands-on experience with SAP data migration tools such as LTMC, LTMOM, BODS, and Databricks.
Must-Have Skills
- 10+ years of SAP FICO experience.
- Minimum 3 full lifecycle SAP implementations.
- At least 2 dedicated SAP data migration projects.
- Strong expertise in:
- Financial Accounting (FI)
- General Ledger (GL)
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Asset Accounting (AA)
- Bank Accounting
- Controlling (CO)
- Cost Center Accounting

- Internal Orders
- Hands-on experience in SAP ECC to S/4HANA migration projects.
- Strong understanding of:
- Universal Journal (ACDOCA)
- Customer Vendor Integration (CVI)
- Business Partner Conversion
- New Asset Accounting
- Expertise in SAP Migration Cockpit (LTMC).
- Experience with LTMOM (Migration Object Modeler).
- Experience in SAP Data Services (BODS) and/or LSMW.
- Strong understanding of ETL processes (Extract, Transform, Load).

- Data Analysis and Reconciliation
- Experience working with global finance teams across multiple geographies.
- Strong UAT coordination and business sign-off management.
- Ability to manage migration cycles:
- Mock Loads

Good-to-Have Skills
- Exposure to Databricks for data transformation and migration activities.
- SAP S/4HANA Finance Certification.
- Experience with SAP Master Data Governance (MDG).
- Exposure to SAP Landscape Transformation (SLT).

Key Responsibilities
- Define data migration scope, extraction rules, and validation criteria.
- Develop and execute migration and cutover plans.
- Coordinate mock loads, dress rehearsals, and production cutover activities.
- Align migration strategy with overall program objectives.
- Extract data from SAP ECC and non-SAP source systems.
- Lead data cleansing and transformation activities.
- Execute data loads using LTMC, LTMOM, and BODS.
- Collaborate with technical and ABAP teams for custom migration requirements.
- Perform pre-load and post-load validation activities.
- Ensure complete reconciliation between legacy and S/4HANA systems.
- Analyze and resolve migration errors and data inconsistencies.
- Support audit and compliance requirements for migrated data.
- Work closely with finance users, business process owners, and country teams.
- Facilitate UAT sessions and obtain business approvals.
- Communicate migration risks, issues, and resolutions to stakeholders.
