Job Summary -
We are looking for a Production Engineer to oversee and coordinate shop-floor manufacturing activities for industrial process and pollution control equipment. The candidate will be responsible for production planning, fabrication, assembly, quality coordination, and ensuring timely completion of manufacturing activities.
Key Responsibilities :-
Plan and monitor daily production activities to achieve production targets.
Coordinate fabrication, welding, machining, assembly, and testing operations.
Ensure manufacturing is carried out as per engineering drawings and quality standards.
Monitor manpower, machine utilization, and production schedules.
Coordinate with Design, Purchase, Stores, and Quality departments.
Identify and resolve production issues to minimize downtime.
Maintain production reports, material consumption, and work progress records.
Implement 5S, safety practices, and continuous process improvements.
Support inspection, dispatch, and project execution activities.
Required Skills :-
Knowledge of fabrication and heavy engineering manufacturing.
Ability to read engineering drawings and BOM.
Production planning and shop-floor management.
Understanding of welding, machining, and assembly processes.
Good knowledge of MS Excel and ERP.
Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Qualification :-
Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
Experience :-
2–5 years of experience in production within fabrication, industrial machinery, process equipment, boiler manufacturing, pollution control equipment, or heavy engineering industries.
Preferred Candidate
Candidates with experience in fabrication, process equipment, boilers, pressure vessels, structural fabrication, or industrial machinery manufacturing will be preferred. Knowledge of production planning, quality systems, and shop-floor coordination is an added advantage.
