We, at evo India, are on the lookout for 2 Web Content Writers who will ensure a constant and timely flow of content on our website, and accelerate our engagement with readers.
Position Overview:
As a Web Content Writer, your role will be to deliver engaging and informative content related to the automotive industry through the evoindia website. Your primary responsibility will be to adapt available press material into well-written content that caters to the interests and needs of automotive enthusiasts, potential car buyers, and industry stakeholders within tight timelines. You'll be expected to publish approximately 4-5 articles per day. This is a remote position (candidates based in India, working IST hours) and does not require any on-site work or travel.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Creation:
- Generate well-researched and captivating articles, blog posts, and multimedia content covering a wide range of automotive topics, including news, industry trends, feature stories, and reviews.
- Ensure the website is consistently updated with new content on a daily basis.
SEO Optimization:
- Implement SEO best practices to ensure content is discoverable and ranks well in search engine results, driving organic traffic to the website.
Collaboration:
- Collaborate with internal teams, including graphic designers, photographers, and marketing, to create cohesive and visually appealing content.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree.
- Genuine interest in cars and the automotive industry — you should already follow automotive news and content.
- Excellent writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Familiarity with SEO best practices and digital marketing.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- 2 years of experience, or fresh graduates welcome — specify.
- Comfort with [CMS/tool name] a plus.
What We Offer:
