Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Accountant with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience to manage day-to-day accounting operations, maintain financial records, and ensure compliance with statutory and company policies. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate books of accounts and financial records.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and ledger accounts.
- Process vendor payments and employee reimbursements.
- Prepare and file GST, TDS, PF, ESI, and other statutory returns as applicable.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Coordinate with auditors during internal and statutory audits.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules.
- Prepare MIS reports and provide financial analysis to management.
- Support payroll processing and related accounting entries.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com). or M.Com
- Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Proficiency in Tally ERP/Tally Prime, MS Excel, and accounting software.
- Knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliance.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
