Job Description – Service Engineer
Position: Service Engineer – Nephrology
Reporting To: Regional Manager – Service, Nephrology
Department: Service / Nephrology
Role Summary
- Ensure timely installation and servicing of dialysis equipment.
- Conduct regular visits to KOLs and ensure quick issue resolution.
- Take ownership of the assigned territory.
- Maintain good relationships with technicians, doctors, and center managers.
- Demonstrate strong troubleshooting and customer-handling skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, calibrate, maintain, and repair dialysis machines and related medical equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance to minimize equipment downtime.
- Maintain good relationships with KOLs and technician groups.
- Conduct equipment demonstrations in the assigned territory with support from the clinical team.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Conduct performance testing and quality assurance checks.
- Provide technical support and training to medical staff on proper equipment usage.
- Maintain accurate service and repair records.
- Coordinate with internal teams for spare parts and technical support.
- Stay updated on technological advancements and best practices in dialysis equipment maintenance.
- Support sales and clinical teams in conducting technician and doctor CMEs.
- Participate in weekly/monthly review meetings and work towards assigned KRAs.
Qualifications & Experience
- 3+ years of experience in servicing dialysis or other medical equipment.
- Knowledge of dialysis treatment processes and related biomedical principles.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Ability to work independently and respond to emergency repair requests.
- Willingness to travel to various healthcare facilities as required.
Education: Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
