Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Quality Control team across incoming, in-process, and finished product quality.
- Develop, implement, and maintain Quality Management Systems (QMS) in compliance with FSSAI, HACCP, GMP, GHP, and ISO 22000 standards.
- Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and customer quality requirements.
- Monitor and control quality parameters throughout the manufacturing process.
- Review and approve raw materials, packaging materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
- Supervise microbiological and chemical testing activities and ensure timely reporting of results.
- Investigate customer complaints, quality deviations, and non-conformities, and implement effective CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions).
- Conduct internal quality audits and coordinate external audits by regulatory authorities and certification bodies.
- Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment and measuring instruments.
- Prepare and maintain quality documentation, SOPs, specifications, inspection reports, and quality records.
- Monitor hygiene, sanitation, pest control, and environmental conditions in production areas.
- Coordinate with Production, Maintenance, R&D, Procurement, and Supply Chain departments to resolve quality-related issues.
- Analyze quality trends using data and recommend process improvements to minimize rejections and wastage.
- Train production and quality staff on food safety, hygiene practices, GMP, SOPs, and quality standards.
- Ensure product traceability, recall readiness, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of Frozen Food Manufacturing processes.
- Thorough understanding of FSSAI, HACCP, GMP, GHP, ISO 22000, Food Safety Management Systems, and Quality Management Systems.
- Expertise in microbiological and chemical testing procedures.
- Experience in handling internal and external audits.
- Strong root cause analysis and CAPA implementation skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Effective leadership and team management skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and quality documentation.
Educational Qualification
- B.Tech/M.Tech in Food Technology, B.Sc./M.Sc. in Food Science, Microbiology, Dairy Technology, or a related discipline.
- HACCP, ISO 22000, or Lead Auditor certification will be an added advantage.

Preferred Candidate Profile
- 5–10 years of relevant experience in Frozen Food Manufacturing.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Experience in handling customer audits and regulatory inspections.
- Immediate joiners will be preferred.
Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
