A Guest Relations Executive (GRE) is a hospitality professional responsible for ensuring guests have a pleasant and memorable experience at a hotel, resort, restaurant, or similar establishment.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcoming guests upon arrival.
- Assisting with check-in and check-out when needed.
- Handling guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests.
- Coordinating with housekeeping, front office, and other departments to resolve issues.
- Providing information about hotel facilities, local attractions, and services.
- Following up with guests to ensure satisfaction.
- Maintaining VIP guest profiles and arranging special amenities.
Skills Required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
- Customer service orientation.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Knowledge of hospitality software is an advantage.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are often preferred.
Qualifications
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in hospitality, tourism, or a related field (preferred).
- Experience in customer service or hotel operations is an advantage.
