Software Tester Intern
Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Software Tester Intern to join our team for a 3-month internship. This opportunity is ideal for fresh graduates or students who are passionate about software quality assurance and eager to gain hands-on experience by working on real-world web and mobile applications.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in creating and executing test cases based on project requirements.
Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications.
Identify, document, and report bugs with clear reproduction steps.
Conduct functional, regression, and usability testing.
Collaborate with developers and QA team members to resolve defects.
Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and other Agile team meetings.
Maintain test documentation, test reports, and defect logs.
Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing before releases.
Ensure software meets quality standards and user expectations.
Required Skills
Basic understanding of software testing concepts and methodologies.
Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
Basic understanding of web and mobile applications.
Familiarity with bug tracking tools such as Jira is an added advantage.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and testing practices.
Preferred Qualifications
Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Basic knowledge of manual testing (knowledge of automation testing is a plus).
Exposure to Agile/Scrum development methodologies is an advantage.
