Qualification:
- Diploma or B.E. in Mechanical Engineering / Industrial Engineer
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Procurement / Supply Chain Management
- Key Responsibilities
- Procure mechanical components, raw materials, and related goods as per organizational requirements.
- Source and develop suppliers for sheet metal fabrication, welding, powder coating, plating, machining, and other special processes.
- Evaluate suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery performance, service, and technical capability.
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and commercial agreements to achieve cost-effective procurement.
- Prepare purchase orders and ensure timely processing of procurement activities.
- Monitor and track orders to ensure on-time delivery and resolve supply-related issues proactively.
- Conduct supplier performance assessments and implement corrective actions where required.
- Prepare procurement budgets, cost analyses, MIS reports, and other procurement-related documentation.
- Collaborate with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and engineering teams to suggest design changes that improve manufacturability, reduce costs, and simplify procurement.
- Support rapid prototyping activities by coordinating with vendors and ensuring priority execution.
- Take ownership of critical vendor-related issues and drive resolution through continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain effective communication and coordination with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.

- Strong knowledge of mechanical manufacturing processes, including:
- Sheet Metal Fabrication
- Welding
- Powder Coating
- Plating
- Machining
- CAD
- Good understanding of procurement and supplier management processes.
- Strong negotiation and vendor development skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Good interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office and procurement-related reporting.
