Job Summary
Fresh Pet Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a skilled and proactive Maintenance Executive to support plant maintenance activities and ensure smooth operation of production machinery and utilities. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in preventive maintenance, breakdown maintenance, troubleshooting, and equipment upkeep within a manufacturing environment.
The candidate will work closely with the Maintenance Manager and Production Team to minimize downtime and ensure uninterrupted plant operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of production machinery and plant equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and utility-related issues.
- Ensure timely rectification of machine breakdowns to minimize production losses.
- Assist in implementing preventive maintenance schedules and maintenance plans.
- Monitor machine performance and report abnormalities to the Maintenance Manager.
- Maintain records of maintenance activities, machine downtime, and repairs.
- Coordinate with production teams to ensure smooth plant operations.
- Support installation, commissioning, and modification of machinery and equipment.
- Ensure proper maintenance of utilities such as compressors, chillers, cooling systems, and electrical equipment.
- Follow safety procedures and company maintenance standards.
- Assist in spare parts management and inventory control.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at improving machine efficiency and reliability.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Diploma / ITI / Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or related field.
- 2–3 years of experience in maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of preventive and breakdown maintenance practices.
- Basic understanding of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve equipment-related issues.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to work in shifts, if required.
Preferred Industry Experience
Candidates with experience in the PET Preform, Plastics, Packaging, Injection Moulding, or related manufacturing industries will be given strong preference.
