Position: Site Supervisor
Location: Near Infopark Phase II, Kochi
Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Site Supervisor to oversee daily construction activities at our project site near Infopark Phase II. The candidate will be responsible for supervising construction works, ensuring quality standards, monitoring material usage, maintaining road levels, and ensuring timely completion of the project.
Key Responsibilities
· Supervise day-to-day construction activities at the project site.
· Check and ensure the centre line marking is executed accurately as per approved drawings.
· Monitor and verify road levels, formation levels, and gradients using appropriate surveying equipment.
· Inspect excavation, filling, concreting, road works, and other civil construction activities.
· Track and control material consumption to minimize wastage and ensure proper utilization.
· Maintain daily records of material received, issued, and consumed.
· Coordinate with engineers, contractors, subcontractors, and labour teams for smooth execution of work.
· Ensure all construction work complies with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
· Identify site issues and report them promptly to the Project Engineer or Project Manager.
· Maintain daily progress reports and submit MIS reports on project status, labour deployment, material usage, and work completion.
· Verify measurements and quantities executed at the site.
· Ensure adherence to safety regulations and site housekeeping standards.
· Monitor project schedules and ensure timely completion of construction activities.
· Coordinate inspections and rectify defects identified during quality checks.
· Assist in final project handover and completion documentation.
Qualification
· Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
· Minimum 2–5 years of experience in civil construction or road construction projects.
· Experience in centre line marking, road level checking, and site supervision is preferred.
Skills Required
· Knowledge of civil construction methods and site execution.
· Ability to read construction drawings and layout plans.
· Experience with Auto Level, Dumpy Level, or Total Station (preferred).
· Good understanding of material management and consumption monitoring.
· Strong leadership and team coordination skills.
· Ability to prepare daily MIS reports and progress reports.
· Good communication and problem-solving skills.
· Proficiency in MS Excel and basic computer applications.
Working Hours
As per project requirements.
