Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Engineer responsible for drafting, quality inspection, and supervision of machine manufacturing processes. The candidate will ensure that mechanical designs are accurately prepared, manufacturing quality standards are maintained, and production activities are completed efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed mechanical drawings, layouts, and technical drafts using CAD software.
- Develop fabrication drawings and manufacturing documentation.
- Review engineering designs for accuracy, feasibility, and compliance with project requirements.
- Supervise machine manufacturing and fabrication activities on the shop floor.
- Monitor production progress and ensure work is completed as per drawings and specifications.
- Conduct quality checks during and after manufacturing processes.
- Inspect raw materials, components, and finished products for quality compliance.
- Coordinate with production teams, vendors, and management for smooth project execution.
- Identify manufacturing issues and provide technical solutions.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and company procedures.
- Maintain records of inspections, reports, and project documentation.
Required Skills:
- Knowledge of mechanical design and manufacturing processes
- Proficiency in AutoCAD/SolidWorks or similar drafting software
- Understanding of quality control procedures
- Strong supervision and team coordination skills
- Problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Knowledge of fabrication and machine assembly processes
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- Experience in machine manufacturing/fabrication preferred
- Freshers with strong technical knowledge may also apply (optional, if applicable)
