Job Summary
The Housekeeping Cleaner is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation in all assigned areas of the hospital/organization. The role includes cleaning patient areas, offices, washrooms, and common spaces while ensuring a safe and healthy environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
Roles & ResponsibilitiesCleaning & Maintenance
- Clean and sanitize floors, rooms, washrooms, corridors, and common areas.
- Sweep, mop, dust, and vacuum assigned areas regularly.
- Dispose of waste materials and biomedical waste as per guidelines.
- Refill soap, sanitizer, tissue paper, and other cleaning supplies.
- Maintain cleanliness of furniture, windows, doors, and equipment.
Hygiene & Safety
- Follow infection control and hygiene protocols.
- Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely.
- Wear proper uniform, gloves, and protective items during duty.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages immediately.
Patient & Staff Support
- Maintain polite and professional behavior with patients and staff.
- Ensure patient rooms and waiting areas are neat and comfortable.
- Assist during emergency cleaning requirements when needed.
Skills Required
- Basic knowledge of cleaning procedures and hygiene standards.
- Ability to work responsibly and maintain discipline.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties.
- Good teamwork and time management skills.
Qualification
- Minimum 8th / 10th Pass.
- Prior housekeeping or hospital cleaning experience preferred.
Working Conditions
- Rotational shifts may be required.
- Must maintain punctuality and cleanliness standards at all times.

Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹11,000.00 per month
