We are looking for an experienced or semi-skilled Electric Motor Winder / Motor Rewinding Technician for our workshop in Lonavala. The candidate will be responsible for repairing, rewinding, assembling, and testing electric motors, pumps, and related electrical components. The ideal candidate should have hands-on knowledge of motor winding work, basic electrical repairs, and workshop discipline. Key Responsibilities Rewinding of single-phase and three-phase electric motors. Dismantling, cleaning, repairing, and assembling motors and pump sets. Checking motor faults such as burning, short circuit, insulation failure, bearing issues, and wiring problems. Removing old winding and preparing slots for fresh winding. Selecting correct wire gauge and winding turns as per motor requirement. Varnishing, insulation, heating/drying, and finishing of rewound motors. Fitting bearings, seals, covers, fans, and other motor parts. Testing motors after rewinding or repair. Supporting pump repair and basic electrical troubleshooting when required. Maintaining tools, machines, and workshop cleanliness. Following safety procedures while handling electrical equipment and machinery. Candidate Requirements Prior experience in electric motor winding or motor repair preferred. Knowledge of single-phase and three-phase motors. Ability to identify basic motor faults. Should be comfortable working with hand tools, winding tools, testing equipment, and workshop machinery. Basic understanding of pumps, motors, starters, and electrical connections will be an advantage. Hardworking, reliable, and willing to learn. Candidate should be based in or willing to travel to Lonavala. Experience Fresher with basic knowledge may be considered. 1–3 years of experience preferred. Higher salary will be offered to candidates with strong hands-on winding and repair experience. Salary ₹10,000 – ₹16,000 per month, depending on experience, skill level, and ability to handle work independently.
