Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Site Supervisor specializing in the installation of high-end window systems and architectural glass partitions. In this role, you will lead installation crews, verify structural measurements, and ensure flawless alignment, sealing, and premium finishing for residential and commercial projects.
Key Responsibilities
- On-Site Supervision: Oversee the end-to-end installation of premium Aluminium windows, slim-line sliding systems, frameless glass partitions, and shower cubical.
- Measurement Verification: Take precise on-site structural openings (civil dimensions) and verify them against architectural drawings before manufacturing/installation to ensure a zero-error fit.
- Hardware & Glass Handling: Ensure the safe handling, unboxing, and structural fixing of heavy toughened/laminated glass panels, double-glazed units (DGU), and specialized architectural hardware.
- Sealing & Insulation: Supervise critical waterproofing, silicone weather-sealing, leak-proof, and acoustically sound installations.
- Quality Inspection: Conduct rigorous checks for level, plumb, smooth track movement, locking mechanism functionality, and scratch-free glass surfaces before final handover.
- Labor & Safety Management: Manage specialized glazing teams and ensure all on-site safety protocols for handling heavy glass are strictly followed.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 2 to 5 years of dedicated experience supervising Window Systems (Aluminium) and Glass Partition/Glazing works.
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of premium window profiles and glass hardware.
- Drawing & Leveling Literacy: Expert ability to read architectural structural drawings, floor plans, and section details. Proficient with laser levels and spirit levels.
- Problem-Solving: Strong capability to address on-site structural out-of-plumb issues or civil deviations efficiently.
- Mobility: Must possess a valid two / four wheeler license and a smartphone for real-time site reporting.
