Job Summary:
The Ward RMO is responsible for providing round-the-clock medical care to admitted patients, monitoring patient conditions, coordinating with consultants, and ensuring smooth functioning of ward activities. The role requires prompt clinical decision-making, patient management, and effective communication with nursing and medical staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage admitted patients in the ward.
- Conduct regular patient rounds and maintain proper medical records.
- Attend emergency cases and provide immediate medical treatment.
- Coordinate with consultants regarding patient condition and treatment plans.
- Write daily progress notes, treatment orders, and discharge summaries.
- Handle patient admissions, transfers, and discharges.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and code situations.
- Ensure proper implementation of hospital protocols and infection control policies.
- Guide and support nursing staff regarding patient care.
- Maintain accurate documentation of investigations, medications, and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with patients and relatives regarding treatment updates.
- Assist in medico-legal cases and documentation whenever required.
- Ensure availability during assigned shifts, including night duties.
Qualification:
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
