Prayas Tutorials is looking for a dedicated and responsible part-time teacher who can support students with regular academic learning and concept clarity.
The teacher should have a good understanding of Hindi and should also be able to teach Social Studies / SST. The candidate should be comfortable handling school students, explaining concepts clearly, and helping them with written practice, revision, homework, and test preparation.
Subjects Required
Hindi
Social Studies / SST
Basic academic support for school students, wherever needed
Key Responsibilities
Teach Hindi and SST to school students in a simple and clear manner
Help students understand concepts instead of only memorising answers
Assist with homework, worksheets, revision, and school test preparation
Prepare students through written practice and regular doubt solving
Maintain discipline and a positive learning environment in class
Track student progress and update the institute when required
Support Prayas’ teaching approach of concept clarity, confidence building, and regular practice
Candidate Requirements
Good command over Hindi language
Ability to teach SST with clarity and interest
Prior teaching or tuition experience preferred
Patient, responsible, and student-friendly approach
Must be punctual and committed to assigned teaching hours
Should be able to handle students of different learning levels
Payment
Payment will be on an hourly basis, depending on experience and teaching capability.
