About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and analytical SEO Intern to join our digital marketing team for a 6-month internship. This role is ideal for students or recent graduates who are passionate about search engine optimization, content marketing, and improving website performance. You will gain hands-on experience in implementing SEO strategies, keyword research, and performance analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct keyword research to identify opportunities for organic growth.
- Assist in optimizing website content, meta titles, descriptions, headings, and URLs.
- Perform on-page SEO audits and recommend improvements.
- Support off-page SEO activities, including backlink research and outreach.
- Monitor website performance using SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and other SEO platforms.
- Track keyword rankings and prepare regular SEO performance reports.
- Collaborate with content writers and designers to create SEO-friendly content.
- Stay updated with the latest SEO trends, search engine algorithms, and industry best practices.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, IT, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of SEO principles and digital marketing concepts.
- Familiarity with Google Search Console, Google Analytics, or similar SEO tools is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of keyword research tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Ubersuggest.
- Basic understanding of HTML and WordPress.
- Familiarity with content optimization and link-building strategies.
- Basic knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets for data analysis.
