Santecare Fast Pvt Ltd is a subsidiary of an Australian business entity. We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Compliance Officer to join our Ahmedabad office. This onsite role involves ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements while working closely with our Australian operations team.
About the Role
The Compliance Officer will oversee day-to-day compliance activities and help ensure that company processes, records and staff practices meet applicable Australian regulatory, NDIS and internal organisational requirements.
This role is ideal for someone with experience in healthcare BPO/KPO, medical coding, quality assurance, compliance, audit, risk management or Australian operations.
Key Responsibilities
Compliance Monitoring & Auditing
- Monitor compliance with applicable NDIS requirements, Australian regulations, company policies and internal procedures.
- Conduct regular audits and quality checks of client, staff and operational records.
- Review documentation to identify missing information, inconsistencies, errors or compliance gaps.
- Maintain audit schedules, findings and follow-up actions.
- Ensure identified issues are appropriately documented and escalated.
Risk Management & Corrective Actions
- Identify potential compliance, operational and documentation risks.
- Investigate compliance issues and breaches in a timely and professional manner.
- Document findings and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Track corrective actions through to completion.
- Escalate significant or recurring risks to management and the Australian team.
NDIS & Australian Compliance
- Monitor relevant changes to NDIS requirements and applicable Australian regulations.
- Support the review and updating of internal policies, procedures and compliance documentation.
- Assist the Australian team in maintaining readiness for internal and external audits.
- Ensure compliance processes are consistently applied across the organisation.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate and confidential compliance records.
- Prepare regular compliance, audit and risk reports for management.
- Develop and maintain compliance checklists, registers, trackers and guidelines.
- Maintain evidence required for audits and compliance reviews.
- Ensure documentation is complete, accurate, current and easily accessible.
Incident, Complaint & Issue Management
- Support the review and documentation of incidents, complaints and compliance-related concerns.
- Ensure issues are appropriately recorded, investigated and escalated.
- Monitor follow-up actions and ensure matters are closed within required timeframes.
- Identify recurring issues and recommend improvements to prevent recurrence.
Privacy & Confidentiality
- Ensure client, staff and business information is handled securely and confidentially.
- Follow applicable Australian privacy and data protection requirements.
- Monitor compliance with internal information-handling and confidentiality procedures.
- Immediately escalate any suspected privacy or information-security concerns.
Skills
- Strong understanding of compliance frameworks and risk management practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and compliance management tools.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
