Job Summary
We are seeking a disciplined, experienced, and responsible Retired Army Officer to serve as a School Administrator. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, administrative discipline, personnel-management skills, and the ability to maintain a safe, organized, and professional school environment.
Key Responsibilities1. School Administration
- Oversee the day-to-day administrative functioning of the school.
- Ensure discipline, punctuality, and adherence to school policies.
- Coordinate between the Director, Principal, teachers, administrative staff, students, and support staff.
- Monitor school facilities, infrastructure, housekeeping, transport, security, and general maintenance.
- Ensure smooth functioning of school activities and daily operations.
2. Discipline & Student Management
- Maintain a safe, disciplined, and respectful school environment.
- Supervise student movement, assembly, dispersal, lunch breaks, and other common activities.
- Handle disciplinary matters professionally and in coordination with the Principal.
- Promote values such as discipline, responsibility, punctuality, teamwork, and respect.
3. Staff Management
- Monitor attendance and punctuality of teaching and non-teaching staff.
- Ensure proper deployment of support staff, security personnel, drivers, and housekeeping teams.
- Assist the Principal in implementing staff-related policies and procedures.
- Identify operational issues and report them to the management.
4. Security & Safety
- Supervise school security arrangements and visitor management.
- Ensure proper entry and exit procedures for students, staff, parents, and visitors.
- Conduct regular checks of security, fire-safety, emergency preparedness, and school premises.
- Coordinate emergency response and crisis-management procedures when required.
5. Infrastructure & Maintenance
- Regularly inspect classrooms, laboratories, playgrounds, washrooms, corridors, electrical systems, and other facilities.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams and vendors for timely resolution of issues.
- Maintain records of repairs, maintenance, assets, and operational requirements.
6. Event & Activity Management
- Assist in organizing school functions, sports events, assemblies, examinations, celebrations, and other major activities.
- Ensure proper crowd management, security, discipline, and logistical arrangements.
- Coordinate with staff and external agencies during large school events.
7. Parent & Visitor Coordination
- Maintain professional interaction with parents and visitors.
- Address administrative concerns and escalate academic or sensitive matters to the Principal/Director.
- Ensure that all visitors follow prescribed school protocols.

- Retired Army Officer, preferably with leadership/administrative experience.

Preferred Experience
- Experience in administration, personnel management, security, logistics, or institutional management.
- Experience handling large teams or managing complex operations will be an advantage.
- Prior experience in educational institutions will be an added advantage but is not mandatory.
