Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Billing Engineer with mandatory experience in high-rise residential construction projects. The candidate will be responsible for preparing, verifying, and managing contractor and subcontractor billing, ensuring accurate measurement of work executed, maintaining billing records, and coordinating with site teams to ensure timely certification and payment processing.
Key Responsibilities Billing & Measurement
- Prepare and verify Running Account (RA) Bills and Final Bills for contractors and subcontractors.
- Measure work executed at site based on approved drawings and actual site progress.
- Verify quantities, rates, and supporting documents before processing bills.
- Ensure billing is carried out as per contract terms, BOQs, and approved work orders.
- Coordinate with site engineers and project managers to obtain work completion details for billing.
Invoice Verification & Certification
- Scrutinize contractor invoices for accuracy and contractual compliance.
- Verify material reconciliation and work completion records before bill certification.
- Process contractor and vendor bills for approval within defined timelines.
- Resolve billing discrepancies in coordination with contractors and internal teams.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate billing records, measurement sheets, abstracts, and supporting documentation.
- Prepare billing summaries, payment trackers, and bill status reports.
- Maintain records of certified, pending, and released payments.
- Ensure all billing documentation complies with company policies and audit requirements.
Coordination
- Liaise with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Procurement, Accounts, and Contractors for smooth billing operations.
- Attend site visits when required for measurement verification and billing validation.
- Support project teams in resolving billing-related issues and clarifications.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- 3–6 years of experience as a Billing Engineer in high-rise residential construction projects (mandatory).
- Strong knowledge of construction billing procedures, BOQs, measurements, and contract billing.
- Experience in preparing and verifying RA Bills and Final Bills.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, ERP systems, and billing software.
- Good understanding of construction drawings and quantity measurements.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and coordination skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and meet billing deadlines.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
