Position Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Design & Estimation Engineer with hands-on experience in LV switchgear and PLC Control Pannels. The ideal candidate should be capable of preparing accurate technical designs and cost estimations, and must be proficient in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and MS Word.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare electrical design layouts and panel drawings using AutoCAD.
- Develop technical and commercial proposals based on project specifications.
- Estimate material, labor, and production costs for LV switchgear and automation systems.
- Interpret technical drawings, tender documents, and client requirements.
- Coordinate with procurement and project teams for cost optimization and feasibility.
- Review vendor quotes and BOQs for accuracy and compliance.
- Support the sales team with technical clarifications and bid documentation.
- Ensure timely submission of designs and estimates in line with project timelines.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation Engineering.
- 2–4 years of relevant experience in design and estimation of LV switchgear and automation systems.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and MS Word.
- Good knowledge of industry standards, products, and design practices.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines.
- Immediate joiners preferred.
