We are looking for an organized and customer-centric Inside Sales Associate to support driving enquiry-to-cash lifecycle. This role acts as a vital coordination link between our engineering team, pricing team and our customers. This is not a field sales role and there are no sales targets. Enquiries are sourced by the sales team, and your mission is to take ownership of commercial coordination of assigned leads managing datasheet clarifications, tender documentation, CRM updates, bid submissions, and customer communication.
This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in a structured, documentation-heavy environment.
Key Responsibilities
CRM & Data Management
Update and maintain the CRM system with accurate inputs from the sales team.
Capture customer details, specifications, enquiry status, and commercial updates.
Tender & Documentation Support
Create, compile, and upload tender documents including commercial and compliance paperwork.
Manage queries and updates through portals such as BEL SRM, GeM, HAL, DRDO (LRDE), and CASDIC.
Customer coordination
Clarify basic commercial and technical terms with customers independently.
Prepare and send emails for price negotiation, delivery timeline changes, commercial terms, request for extensions in bid submission timelines
Work with the team to ensure tender submission deadlines are met
General skills
Maintain a list of priority activities and tasks, and meet your own deadlines
Build skills in MS Excel, MS Word to perform tasks like data entry and report generation
Ideal Candidate Profile
We are looking for someone who:
Has 12 to 36 months of experience in customer service (domestic or international).
Demonstrates confidence in handling customers independently.
Is highly organized with strong attention to detail.
Is comfortable with documentation, CRM tools, and structured workflows.
Possesses a strong willingness to learn and grow.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience in Tendering / Bid Coordination, Inside Sales, Commercial analyst, Customer support
