Project Role Description : Leads a team of quality engineers through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Applies business and functional knowledge to develop end-to-end testing strategies through the use of quality processes and methodologies. Applies testing methodologies, principles and processes to define and implement key metrics to manage and assess the testing process including test execution and defect resolution.

Summary:
As a Quality Engineering Lead, a typical day involves guiding a team of quality engineers by coordinating multi-disciplinary planning and integrating various ecosystem components to enhance delivery speed and ensure high-quality standards throughout the application lifecycle. The role requires overseeing the development and execution of comprehensive testing strategies that align with business and functional requirements. This position also involves monitoring key performance indicators related to testing activities, managing test execution, and facilitating defect resolution to maintain the overall quality of the software product. Collaboration across teams and continuous process improvement are integral parts of the daily routine.

- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.
- Mentor and support junior team members to foster professional growth and skill development.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to align testing objectives with business goals.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices throughout the testing lifecycle.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Guidewire ClaimCenter QA.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, including functional, regression, and integration testing.
- Experience in developing and implementing test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into effective testing strategies.
- Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools to monitor and report testing progress.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on quality assurance and process optimization.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Guidewire ClaimCenter QA.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
