Position: HVAC Engineer
Experience: 2 to 5 Years
Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹30,000 per month, based on experience and skill set

Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and experienced HVAC Engineer to manage the operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and performance of HVAC systems at IT industry sites, commercial facilities, and production/manufacturing companies.
The candidate should have practical experience in HVAC operation and maintenance and be capable of handling preventive and breakdown maintenance while ensuring reliable and energy-efficient system performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate, monitor, and maintain HVAC systems and related equipment.
- Carry out Preventive Maintenance (PM), Corrective Maintenance (CM), and Breakdown Maintenance.
- Handle HVAC equipment such as:
- Chillers
- AHU & FAHU
- VRF / VRV Systems
- Package AC
- Ductable AC
- Cassette AC
- Split & Hi-Wall AC
- Cooling Towers
- Pumps
- Ventilation and Exhaust Systems
- VAV and associated controls
- Attend HVAC breakdowns and identify faults through systematic troubleshooting.
- Monitor equipment performance, temperature, pressure, current, voltage, refrigerant parameters, and other operating conditions.
- Coordinate with OEM/vendors for major breakdowns, servicing, and technical support.
- Maintain daily log sheets, equipment history, PM records, breakdown reports, and other required documentation.
- Ensure HVAC systems are operated according to site requirements, SOPs, and safety procedures.
- Support energy-saving initiatives and identify opportunities to improve HVAC system efficiency.
- Coordinate with facility management, electrical, BMS, civil, and other maintenance teams.
- Handle HVAC maintenance activities in IT facilities, data-center-type environments, offices, production plants, and manufacturing facilities.
- Ensure proper housekeeping, safety practices, and compliance with site rules.
- Support inspections, audits, statutory requirements, and client meetings related to HVAC maintenance.
- Prepare maintenance reports and provide regular updates to the reporting manager/client.
Educational Qualification
- Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering / HVAC / Refrigeration & Air Conditioning.
- ITI in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning may also be considered for candidates with strong relevant experience.
Experience & Skills
- 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in HVAC operation and maintenance.
- Experience in IT facilities, commercial buildings, production plants, manufacturing companies, or facility management will be preferred.
- Good knowledge of HVAC troubleshooting and maintenance practices.
- Practical knowledge of chillers, VRF/VRV, AHU, pumps, cooling towers, and ventilation systems.
- Knowledge of BMS/automation systems will be an added advantage.
- Ability to read HVAC drawings, equipment manuals, and technical documents.
- Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle emergency/breakdown situations.
Salary
₹20,000 – ₹30,000 per month
Salary will be offered based on qualification, relevant experience, technical knowledge, and interview performance.
Preferred Candidate
Candidates who have experience working in IT parks, corporate offices, data centers, commercial buildings, manufacturing industries, production plants, or facility management companies will be given preference.
