Job Description - PPC Manager
The PPC Manager is responsible for leading production planning and control activities to ensure efficient operations, optimal resource utilization, and timely order fulfillment. This role oversees material planning, production scheduling, capacity management, and cross-functional coordination to achieve delivery and operational targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor Time & Action (T&A) plans from order confirmation through shipment.
- Plan and manage material requirements, prepare Bills of Materials (BOMs), and coordinate with suppliers to ensure material availability.
- Allocate production orders based on production capacity, line efficiency, and order readiness.
- Oversee production schedules, line loading, and achievement of daily production targets.
- Support capacity planning, production costing, and continuous process improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate closely with production, industrial engineering, sourcing, and related departments to ensure seamless execution of orders.
- Monitor production progress, identify potential delays or bottlenecks, and drive corrective actions to ensure on-time delivery.
- Analyze production data and planning metrics to improve efficiency, productivity, and overall operational performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Production, Industrial, Textile, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in PPC, production planning, or manufacturing operations.
- Strong understanding of BOM management, T&A planning, capacity planning, and production processes.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP - SAP systems.
- Strong leadership, coordination, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
