Binated is hiring for a Shift Supervisor – Design Operations in Pune!
We are looking for an experienced Shift Supervisor – Design Operations to lead and manage a team of graphic designers during the assigned shift. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Adobe Photoshop, excellent leadership skills, and experience managing design production in a fast-paced environment.
The Shift Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing daily design operations, assigning work, monitoring productivity, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring all client deliverables are completed within agreed service level agreements (SLAs).
Job Requirement
- Strong command of written and verbal English.
- Willing to work permanent night shifts.
- Ready to work from the Pune office.
- 5-day working week.
- Graduate preferred.
- Immediate joiners preferred.
- Must possess all educational and employment documents.
- 2–5 years of experience in Graphic Design, with at least 1 year in a Team Lead or Shift Supervisor role.
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Photoshop is mandatory.
- Experience working in a high-volume design production environment is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Design Operations
- Take ownership of all design projects during the assigned shift.
- Ensure all assigned projects are completed within agreed turnaround times.
- Monitor project queues and allocate work based on priority, complexity, and team capacity.
- Track project deadlines and proactively resolve delays.
- Ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of client deliverables.
Team Supervision
- Supervise and guide a team of graphic designers during the shift.
- Assign tasks based on workload, skill level, and project priorities.
- Monitor attendance, productivity, and overall team performance.
- Conduct effective shift handovers with clear communication on pending work and priorities.
- Mentor team members and provide constructive feedback to improve quality and efficiency.
- Promote a collaborative and productive work environment.
Quality Assurance
- Review completed designs before final delivery.
- Ensure all creative outputs meet client expectations and company quality standards.
- Minimize revisions and rework through effective quality checks.
- Ensure adherence to brand guidelines, design specifications, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Operational Excellence
- Monitor daily productivity and workflow.
- Identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to maintain smooth operations.
- Coordinate with Client Support, Quality Assurance, and Operations teams to resolve issues efficiently.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and delivery timelines.
Reporting
Prepare end-of-shift reports including:
- Projects received
- Projects completed
- Pending projects with reasons
- SLA performance
- Team productivity
- Quality issues and revisions
- Resource utilization
- Operational concerns and recommendations
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Project completion rate
- SLA compliance
- Design quality score
- Revision and rework percentage

- On-time project delivery
- Team attendance and shift discipline
Required Skills
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Photoshop.
- Good understanding of graphic design principles, typography, colour theory, and layout.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to perform effectively under pressure in a fast-paced production environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and production tracking tools.
- Experience with AI-powered design tools and workflow automation is an added advantage.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Multimedia, or any related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in Graphic Design.
- Minimum 1 year of experience leading or supervising a design team.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in Adobe Photoshop.
- Experience in apparel design, branding, image editing, or production design is preferred.
