An English Teacher (for middle school grades 6 to 8 ) educates students on reading comprehension, writing, composition, and literature. They design lesson plans, grade assignments, evaluate progress, and foster a positive learning environment. The role requires strong communication skills, an understanding of pedagogical methods, and the ability to adapt instruction to different student levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Instruction: Deliver engaging lessons on grammar, vocabulary, sentence structure, and literary analysis.
- Assessment: Create, administer, and grade tests, essays, and quizzes to evaluate student performance.
- Student Support: Identify learning gaps, provide constructive feedback, and offer individualized support for struggling students.
- Collaboration: Attend parent-teacher conferences and work with fellow staff and administration to align with curriculum standards.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: A Bachelor's degree in English, English Literature, Education, or a related field.
- Certification: Valid teaching certification, license, or state licensure (e.g., B.Ed in India, PGCE in the UK, or State Board Certification).
- Experience: Previous classroom teaching experience, typically ranging from 2 to 5 years.
- Soft Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, exceptional classroom management, patience, and strong organizational skills.
Pay: ₹28,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
