Job Role: Chief Executive – Hospital Operations & Business Development
The Chief Executive – Hospital Operations & Business Development is responsible for providing strategic leadership in hospital administration, operational excellence, financial performance, business growth, and patient experience. The role focuses on strengthening the hospital's position as a leading Ayurveda healthcare institution through efficient operations, quality healthcare delivery, innovative business initiatives, and sustainable revenue growth.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee overall hospital operations, administration, and clinical coordination.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve organizational growth and operational excellence.
- Increase OP/IP patient volumes through innovative healthcare services and business development initiatives.
- Establish corporate healthcare partnerships, referral networks, insurance tie-ups, and medical tourism programs.
- Plan and execute branding, digital marketing, and patient engagement strategies to enhance the hospital's visibility.
- Monitor financial performance, prepare budgets, optimize operational costs, and improve revenue generation.
- Ensure compliance with NABH, NCISM, statutory regulations, and healthcare quality standards.
- Drive quality improvement initiatives, patient safety programs, and continuous process enhancement.
- Lead ERP implementation, digital transformation, and performance monitoring systems.
- Build, mentor, and motivate multidisciplinary teams while fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
- Develop relationships with government agencies, healthcare organizations, corporate clients, and community stakeholders.
- Review hospital performance through KPIs, MIS reports, and strategic planning meetings.
- Ensure high levels of patient satisfaction by maintaining quality service standards and addressing operational challenges.
- Lead crisis management, risk mitigation, and organizational change initiatives.
- Promote ethical leadership while aligning hospital operations with the institution's vision and values.
Qualifications
- MBA in Hospital Administration, Healthcare Management, Marketing, or MHA.
- Additional certification in Digital Marketing is preferred.
Experience
- 10–15 years of experience in hospital administration.
- Minimum 5 years in a senior leadership position.
- Experience in Ayurveda or multi-specialty hospitals is desirable.
