Role Description
This is a full-time ETL Tester role at iValue Labs Pvt. Ltd., focused on ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of data throughout ETL and data warehousing processes. The ETL Tester will be responsible for designing and executing test scenarios, validating data transformations, identifying data discrepancies, and ensuring that data is correctly extracted, transformed, and loaded across systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing and executing SQL queries, validating source-to-target mappings, performing data reconciliation, testing ETL workflows, and identifying and reporting defects. The role will also involve collaborating with data engineers, developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality data delivery.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of professional experience in ETL Testing / Data Testing or a related role.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, including writing complex queries for data validation and reconciliation.
- Solid understanding of Data Warehousing concepts, including fact and dimension tables, star/snowflake schemas, and data transformations.
- Strong hands-on experience with ETL Testing & Validation, including source-to-target validation and data integrity checks.
- Experience working with Microsoft SQL Server and relational databases.
- Ability to design and execute test cases for ETL pipelines and data warehouse processes.
- Experience identifying, documenting, tracking, and validating defects related to data and ETL processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with technical and cross-functional teams.
- Candidates who can join within 2–4 weeks will be preferred.
