Job Summary
Serves as the senior SAC expert leading the migration of the Revenue Forecasting application from SAP IBP to SAC. Owns solution design, planning model architecture, and hands-on build, while guiding the junior resource and interfacing with client stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the end-to-end design and build of the SAC planning solution for revenue forecasting, ensuring alignment to the current SAP IBP functionality and future requirements.
Architect SAC planning data models, calculations, allocations, currency conversions, and data actions.
Design SAC stories, dashboards, and analytic applications for forecasting, reporting, and decision support.
Configure predictive and driver-based planning, versioning, and scenario / what-if analysis.
Define and implement data integration (live and import) with SAP and non-SAP source systems.
Own data validation, reconciliation against SAP IBP, UAT support, cutover, and hyper-care.
Mentor the junior developer, review deliverables, and enforce delivery quality and best practices.
Engage with client stakeholders on requirements, design decisions, and status reporting.
Skill Requirements
7–8 years of relevant SAP experience with strong, hands-on SAC expertise (SAC Planning and Analytics).
Proven experience building SAC planning models, calculations, allocations, stories, and dashboards.
Working knowledge of SAP IBP and the ability to interpret and migrate existing IBP forecasting logic to SAC.
Experience with SAC predictive planning / smart predict and driver-based planning.
Strong understanding of SAC data connectivity (live and import) and integration with SAP S/4HANA, SAP Datasphere / BW, and non-SAP sources.
Exposure to finance / revenue forecasting business processes is highly desirable.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; ability to lead a small team.
