Job Title: Head – IT (Digitalization & Process Automation)

Job Purpose:
To lead the organisation’s digital transformation by standardizing business processes, eliminating manual operations, and implementing technology-driven automation to improve overall operational efficiency and control.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Digital Transformation & Strategy
- Develop and drive the IT and Digital Transformation strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Identify opportunities to replace manual processes with technology-driven solutions.
- Drive adoption of emerging technologies (AI, IoT, RPA, Cloud, Data Analytics).
- Analyze existing business processes and implement standardized, automated workflows.
- Lead initiatives to standardize manual processes into system-driven workflows and SOPs.
- Ensure integration of systems across departments for seamless operations.
- Drive end-to-end digital projects from conceptualization to execution and stabilization.
- Ensure seamless integration between systems to enable real-time data flow and reduce redundancies.
- Collaborate with department heads to understand operational challenges and deliver technology-enabled solutions.
- Establish data governance, MIS, dashboards, and analytics frameworks for informed decision-making.
- Manage IT infrastructure, security, and compliance to ensure system reliability and data protection.
- Lead, mentor, and build a high-performing IT team.
- Drive change management and user adoption of new systems and technologies.
- Monitor performance of digital initiatives and ensure continuous improvement and ROI.
- Stay updated with latest industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Introduce innovative solutions to improve productivity and reduce costs.
- Lead and mentor IT team members.
- Manage external vendors, consultants, and technology partners.
Ensure IT policies, cybersecurity, and data protection standards are in place.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong expertise in Digital Transformation & Business Process Re-engineering (BPR)
- Hands-on experience with ERP implementation (SAP / NOW / Microsoft Dynamics or similar)
- Knowledge of automation tools, workflow systems, and system integrations
- Strong understanding of manufacturing / operational processes
- Experience in data analytics, MIS, and dashboarding tools (Power BI, etc.)
- Leadership and team management capabilities
- Strategic thinking with strong execution focus
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor’s Degree in IT / Computer Science / Engineering
Experience Required:
- 12–18 years of experience in IT, with at least 5–7 years in a leadership role
- Proven track record in driving digitalisation and automation initiatives
Key Deliverables / KPIs:
- Organisation-wide standardization of processes
- Significant reduction in manual operations
- Successful implementation of ERP and automation projects
- Improved operational efficiency and cost optimisation
- Strong data visibility and decision-making systems
