Job Title: Senior Business Development Manager – IT Sales **Department:** Sales & Business Development **Experience:** 2–10+ years (IT Sales / Enterprise Sales preferred) **Role Summary:** The Senior Business Development Manager (Sr. BDM) – IT Sales is responsible for driving revenue growth by acquiring new enterprise clients, managing key accounts, and expanding business in IT products/services such as software, SaaS, cloud solutions, hardware, or IT infrastructure solutions. **Key Responsibilities:** *1. New Business Development* * Identify and develop new enterprise clients in assigned territory/sector * Generate leads through cold calling, networking, and market research * Convert prospects into long-term customers *2. Sales & Revenue Growth* * Achieve monthly/quarterly/annual sales targets * Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and product demos * Negotiate contracts, pricing, and commercial terms *3. Key Account Management* * Build and maintain strong relationships with CXOs, IT heads, procurement teams * Ensure high customer satisfaction and retention * Upsell and cross-sell IT solutions *4. Solution Selling* * Understand client business requirements and map IT solutions accordingly * Coordinate with technical/pre-sales teams for solution design *5. Market Intelligence* * Monitor competitors, pricing, and market trends * Provide feedback to product and marketing teams **6. Reporting & Forecasting** * Maintain CRM updates (leads, opportunities, pipeline) * Submit weekly/monthly sales reports and forecasts *Required Skills & Qualifications:* * Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Business, IT, or related field * Strong experience in IT sales / enterprise sales / solution selling * Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills * Ability to handle large accounts and complex sales cycles * Knowledge of CRM tools (Salesforce, Zoho, etc.) preferred *Preferred Experience:* * Selling SaaS, Cloud, Cybersecurity, ERP, or IT infrastructure solutions * Experience in B2B / corporate sales * Existing network in enterprise or government accounts is a plus *Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): * Monthly/Quarterly revenue achievement * New client acquisition * Pipeline value generation * Conversion rate * Account retention and growth
