Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Tender Manager with expertise in Interior Fit-Out projects for Corporate Offices, Healthcare, Retail, Hospitality, and Commercial Spaces. The candidate will be responsible for managing the complete tendering process, including bid preparation, estimation, vendor coordination, commercial evaluation, and submission of competitive proposals while ensuring compliance with client requirements.
Key Responsibilities (KRAs)
1. Tender Management
- Review tender documents, BOQs, drawings, specifications, and contractual requirements.
- Analyze tender requirements and identify project risks and opportunities.
- Prepare and manage tender schedules to ensure timely submission.
- Coordinate with design, estimation, procurement, and project teams for bid preparation.
2. Cost Estimation & Pricing
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for interior fit-out works.
- Obtain quotations from vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Conduct rate analysis and benchmarking for materials and services.
- Develop competitive pricing strategies while maintaining profitability.
3. Bid Preparation & Submission
- Prepare technical and commercial proposals.
- Ensure all tender documents comply with client requirements.
- Submit tenders within stipulated deadlines.
- Maintain tender records and submission logs.
4. Vendor & Subcontractor Management
- Source and evaluate quotations from vendors and subcontractors.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
- Develop and maintain a database of approved vendors and contractors.
5. Commercial & Contract Review
- Review contract terms, payment conditions, warranties, and liabilities.
- Identify commercial risks and recommend mitigation measures.
- Support management during contract negotiations.
6. Coordination & Reporting
- Coordinate with architects, designers, MEP consultants, and project teams.
- Prepare bid summaries, tender analysis reports, and management presentations.
- Track tender status and maintain a tender pipeline report.
7. Post-Tender Activities
- Attend pre-bid and post-bid meetings.
- Clarify technical and commercial queries raised by clients.
- Support project handover to execution teams upon award.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, or related field.
- Additional certification in Estimation, Contracts, or Project Management is preferred.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Interior Fit-Out works, BOQs, and Specifications.
- Expertise in estimation, quantity take-off, and cost planning.
- Knowledge of MEP, Civil, and Finishing works.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, MS Project, and ERP software.
- Strong commercial, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
