Summary:
UST is looking for /ML and Generative AI Strong knowledge of Generative AI, LLM, Agentic AI and AI Agents. Agent workflow and Orchestration, and finally machine learning concepts, supervised and unsupervised learning, deep learning, and is an added advantage. Hands-on experience with Generative AI, Large Language Models, prompt engineering, embeddings, vector databases, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation. Experience with LLM frameworks and orchestration tools such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel, or equivalent. Understanding of model evaluation techniques, hallucination mitigation, guardrails, model monitoring, and AI quality assurance. Experience with open-source and commercial AI models, including GPT-style models, Claude, Gemini, Llama, Mistral, or similar model families. Architecture and Engineering Strong experience in solution architecture, enterprise architecture, and cloud-native application design. Ability to design scalable, secure, and modular AI platforms and services. Knowledge of API design, microservices, event-driven architecture, integration patterns, and distributed systems. Experience with application modernization and integration of AI capabilities into existing enterprise applications. Strong understanding of data pipelines, data lakes, data warehouses, structured and unstructured data processing. Cloud, Data, and Platform Skills(Added Advantage and helps to MVP setup) Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. Experience with cloud AI/ML services such as Azure AI Foundry/Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock/SageMaker, Google Vertex AI, or equivalent. Experience with vector databases such as Azure AI Search, Pinecone, Weaviate, Milvus, FAISS, Chroma, or equivalent. Experience with data engineering tools and platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, Spark, Airflow, Kafka, or equivalent. Knowledge of containerization and orchestration using Docker, Kubernetes, or similar technologies. Programming and Tools Strong programming skills in Python. Experience with AI/ML libraries such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn, (Optional) Hugging Face Transformers, Pandas, NumPy, and related ecosystems.(optional) Experience with REST APIs, SDKs, Git, CI/CD tools, and DevOps practices. Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, Bicep, CloudFormation, or equivalent. Experience with monitoring and observability tools for applications and AI workloads. MLOps / LLMOps Experience building and managing ML/AI lifecycle pipelines. Knowledge of model versioning, experiment tracking, model registry, deployment automation, and performance monitoring. Experience with tools such as MLflow, Kubeflow, Azure ML, SageMaker, Vertex AI, or equivalent. Ability to define model governance, access control, auditability, and operational support processes. Security, Governance, and Compliance Strong understanding of data privacy, access control, secure AI design, and enterprise security standards. Knowledge of responsible AI principles, model risk management, and AI governance. Experience Expectations 10+ years of overall experience in software engineering, data engineering, AI/ML, or solution architecture. -Critical requirement 5+ years of experience in AI/ML solution design and implementation. 3+ years of experience in cloud architecture and cloud-native solution delivery. Proven experience leading technical teams and delivering enterprise-grade AI or data-driven solutions. Experience taking AI/ML solutions from proof of concept to production. Strong experience working with business stakeholders, architects, engineering teams, and leadership. Ability to define architecture blueprints, technical roadmaps, estimates, delivery plans, and implementation standards. Strong problem-solving, communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Domain Expertise Experience working in life sciences, healthcare, clinical, laboratory, manufacturing, supply chain, or regulated enterprise environments. Understanding of data privacy, compliance, validation, and audit requirements in enterprise or regulated domains. Expected Deliverables AI solution architecture documents and technical design documents. AI/ML implementation roadmap and delivery estimates. Technical feasibility assessments and proof-of-concept designs. Model selection and evaluation approach. Data architecture and integration design. MLOps/LLMOps pipeline design. Security, governance, and compliance considerations. Reusable AI architecture patterns, best practices, and technical standards. Technical leadership and mentoring for implementation teams.
